Shipping & Returns

Government Technology Depot Shipping Policy
GTD currently offers three shipping options within the United States:

1. Standard Ground: 5-7 Business days after receipt of order.
2. Expedited: 2-3 Business days after receipt of order.
3. Express: 1 Business day after receipt of order.

The cost for shipping is based upon total order amount. The freight will be calculated during your checkout or calculated by the GTD sales team in regards to orders placed over the phone.

All orders with the exception of heavy items such as large televisions and power products ship free when the total order amount is over $2000.00. 

For APO/FPO addresses, all orders will be shipped via USPS or one of our freight forwarding partners. (Expedited and Express ship methods are currently not available for APO/FPO addresses). Standard delivery timeframes (as noted above) do not apply to APO/FPO shipments. (A surcharge also may be applied to select items due to size and weight).

We are unable to ship to Companies outside of the US with the exception of US government  bases and facilities OCONUS. If you would like to get a quote to a US Facility outside of the US with expedited delivery, please email customerservice@govtechdepot.com and we provide a custom shipping quote based on your individual requirement.

Please note, at this time we are unable to ship to P.O. Box addresses.
Government Technology Depot reserves the right to hold any order for a security or fraud verification. If your order is affected, you will be notified within two business days.

Items Eligible for Free Shipping
All orders over $2000.00 ship free via Fedex Ground. . If you select a shipping method other than the free offer method, shipping charges will apply.
Items Shipped Directly from Manufacturer

Items that ship directly from GTD Manufacturer partners will be sent from the product manufacturer/vendor and will be delivered within 7 business days via standard shipping.
Tracking Your Packages

You will receive one or more tracking numbers on the confirmation e-mail we send you when your order has shipped. This tracking number can be used to check the status of your package at our shipping carriers' online stores:

GTD Return Policy
 
At GTD, your satisfaction is our first priority. We know there is a cost associated with order issues and we would like to make the purchasing experience easy for our Government and Educational clients.
If you have an issue with a purchase please email customerservice@govtechdepot.com with all information in regards to the issue with your order, we will gladly exchange the item or refund your payment card.

All returns are subject to GTD receiving the item back within 7 business days from the date your order was received. Items must be returned with their original packaging and, unless they were damaged prior to you receiving them, must still be in an unused and sealed condition. In the event you experience a compatibility issue, we will work with you to resolve the issue by communicated with our manufacturer partners to provide you the results to help satisfy your needs.  There may be a restocking fee associated with certain items depending on who the manufacturer is. However in the name of saving taxpayer dollars we will work diligently to do everything we can to prevent this, although we occasionally must adhere to Manufacturer return policies.
RMA Process
To request a Return Authorization, please do the following:

1.  Email the reason for the return, please include the following info.

  1. Reason for return of product.
  2. Condition or product IE : Opened / Sealed .
  3. GTD Order number.
  4. Full Name
  5. Full Address
  6. Best number to be contacted at.
  7. Manufacturer Part number of item to be returned.

 PLEASE ALLOW 2-3 Business days for RMA Approval and return instructions. If your RMA is approved you will receive credit to your card or checking account.  This can take up to 7 business days from date product is received back to our warehouses.  If you paid via check or EFT credit will be issued to the account payment was originally received from within 7 business days.
